About the university

Wayne State is a public university with more than 30,000 students, located in Detroit, Michigan. It is situated in the city's cultural center, next to Detroit Institute of the Arts, Detroit Public Library, Detroit Science Center, and several other museums. The university offers a comprehensive range of academic programs, accomodating students from undergraduate to post-doctoral studies. In their spare time, students may enjoy a variety of activities that the metropolitan area of 5 million people has to offer, as well as take advantage of the city's proximity to Canada.

	Between classes, students study and relax on fountain court on the plaza in the heart of the campus, next to Student Center and Recreation and Fitness Center.


	William C. Rands House that houses Business Annex is situated next to School of Business Administration, and faces Detroit Public Library across Cass Avenue.
